The older and more experienced I become, the more I unironically believe that mental illness is demonic possession. Read the shit in the Bible about people who are possessed. They sound like our "mentally ill" people. Some of the mental illnesses just have this evil sort of feeling to them. I have a friend who used to want to be a priest, who excelled in college, etc. he got hit with a couple of mental illnesses in college and now he talks about how he loves lucifer and will leech off his parents until they're dead then he'll just become homeless.

Exactly. If depression for instance were a real disease caused by a chemical imbalance or something they'd be testing seratonin/dopamine levels before they pumped people up full of SSRIs.
