The Bible is genius satire written to caution about the degenerate cults of the Jews. The main character is the prophesied Jewish messiah who literally checks all their boxes for messiah and additionally avoids being an abrasive zealot like all their previous main characters.
This main character, Jesus Christ comes to them in the form of an honest Godly man who seeks to teach them of a better way of living. Seeks to teach them to reject what destroys them and makes them miserable. Jesus seeks to teach rationality and empathy to Jews. In an ironic twist, Jesus himself cannot help but start a cult proving himself to be a Jew.
Jews of course cannot stand this, they have to kill Jesus even though he is just another Jewish cult leader. For some reason this guy, who’s only trait is that he is a beta who wants them to change for the better is killed and the Jews blame the Romans.
