Before WW1, Austro-Hungary sanctioned Serbia's pig exports. Serbia's whole economy was based on exporting pigs to Austro-Hungary. Once the sanctions took place, Serbia started looking for new markets and exporting it to European countries and outside, making their economy stronger.
Russia will find the same, they will start owning oil markets in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and China. The Europeans who want to buy from them will buy in Rubles, strengthening the PetroRuble.
