I don't think they've got the forces to take Izium personally, or at least not to take, hold it, and then push to encircle the Donetsk river line and UAF forces there. I believe they only have the 144th MRD BTG pushing Izium atm. Plus I've heard the UAF were counterattacking in areas around Izium yesterday (and probably today too) so they've definitely got the advantage.
I'm much more worried about Severodonetsk, huge force pushing there and it's exposed.
