CREST, a UK organization which resembles an NGO assessed our memes and the finding are absolutely fascinating. I genuinely have no words; the results speak for themselves.

The "its okay to kill communists" pic is posted by literally one person. He was very active in early 2020, but not recently. Odd that they'd single these out, since they're fairly rare.
Ooooh! Let me guess what these idiots have written to justify their garbage without even checking the link: symbolic and systemic violence, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia, mysogonia, semiotic and semantics, discourse analysis, Foucault, Bourdieu, digital ethnography, muh narrative, blah, blah, blah...
Just useless master and doctorate degree idiots in sociology, anthropology, psychology, who think they are smarter than you. Trust me, they are fucking not.
Stupid academia clowns.
Imagine going to school to try to interpret memes. Oh boy.
It's really bizarre, why does this exist? Nothing needs to be said, the evidence speaks for itself. But just why?
>someone is getting paid for this
WHAT THE FUCK AM I READING LMAO
They have to show something to tptb in order to justify the tax money that was spent to basically just call anons racist, xenophobic, extremist, etc.
It's academia. This is how you get grants and juicy government contracts. Anything vaguely related to "counter terrorism" gets massive funding and long-term work. Since we use memes endlessly, they get to "analyze" them endlessly, all on taxpayer money. It doesn't matter if the green frog just reflects having a relaxing day indoors, they will still find a way to spin it as having deep secret meaning.
All this bullshit is non-falsifiable, so the grift is perpetual.
Because, "The ironic memetic subculture found within chans makes interpretation of violent content particularly challenging, and it is thus essential that practitioners and researchers working in this space embed themselves within the culture to understand its nuances and codes. Without this, chan content risks being interpreted at face-value, which may lead to wasted resources."
Kek. Imagine strongly interpreting memes by hanging out on this site in order to not waste resources. Sounds like somebody is curious.
that it? can we get an archive? its really funny to see glowie boomers try to understand memes. they entire description seems to miss the point of the meme. this shows they lack the pathos to feel the spirit of the image, are missing the logos to understand the history of their use, and ergo fail to live up to the ethos they should have being so called 'experts'
how could someone even read this and think these people have any understanding of the chans, let alone other human beings?
half of the shit thats posted on this board is from years ago or fake
>CREST, a UK organization
>UK
Research and opinions of theirs is immediately discarded.
They don't know fucking shit I guarantee it and I didn't even read it or this thread.
The funniest part about the based department meme is that the red button is missing. They missed that.
>report your kid for using discord
NOW THIS IS BASED.
>It's all so tiresome
>only seen on 6 boards
What was the timeframe and overall scope of data collection?
The only thing they're hacking on discord is their genitals
kek you can say that at least they lurked a bit before, instead of writing bs like every other "research" kek
The longer you stay, the more you learn. They don't get an exemption for being curious academics.
I didn't want to flood so I only posted half. Half.
I can post more if you so please but remember you can just save the PDF or bookmark it. All the juicy stuff and more is in there.
>the prophecy of Mutt's Law has been fulfilled
>basedjak is bad because he's overly enthusiastic
Imagine being this retarded.
Honestly not a bad analysis up until the mutt's law interpretation. It's more a reference to Americans being so diverse in genetics that they lack any real one, true cultural identity. The picture is actually based off that general who is obviously not very attractive by modern standards but tries to picture all mixed race Americans as horribly disfigured "mutts".
The irony being that in things like dog populations mutts typically have the least health problems.
Autistic as fuck lol
how much of a loser do you have to be to write a serious academic paper on internet retards shit talking
