It doesn't make much sense to me. There were so many Indians already here. Wouldn't it have been easier to enslave them than build expensive ships to transport people all the way from fucking Africa? Now there are all these blacks here in America bitching about slavery reparations (pic related). If we had made the Indians slaves instead we could have just genocided them after we were done with them since genociding Indians is apparently fine, or if we wanted to keep them alive then we could have given them Oklahoma and liquor to turn them all into tame alcoholics in a state nobody really cares about.

Most of the Natives died from disease. Even with limited exposure, Africans had encountered those diseases and would survive. Other slaves, the Slavs, were no longer accessible once the Ottomans rolled in. This coincided with Portugal making contact with Sub-Sahara by sea.

Two reasons:
1. Disease, native american populations were shrinking rapidly and they were very susceptible to infecitous disease.
2. Control of slaves: because blacks were also foreigners in the new world, they were naturally afraid of running off into the wilderness and would have nowhere to run. Native american slaves would have escape in mind and would be easy for attackers to set free.
Anecdotally, almost all blacks and whites who escaped to or were captured by native american tribes vastly preferred the lifestyle and culture and generally refused to return or remained sympathetic to their former captors even once they were allowed to leave. Could be just historical mythos though.

I don't think so. Some people except slavery, other's don't. Africa had large scale slavery for millennia. There are more slaves in Africa today than at the peak of Slavery in the US. The US did not import many slaves actually. they were bred here.
