I've been watching him since he appeared on youtube in like 2013 and also read his book.

The guy is a GAE shill who will unload a bunch of facts to predict the demographic crises and whatnot crises of other nations, while at the same time these same facts apply to America specifically like the racial and economic implosion, or the unfeasible fracking which is such a major problem that no one realizes yet, but for these facts he will never utter anything. For the ones that he *has* to address like America's declining geopolitical power and the Afghan thing, he plays it out as 5D chess isolationism about tricking the rest of the world to destroy itself while being the neutral Walmart of weapons and other stuff.

I personally liked him because he talks about water and sea and how important rivers are for the economy that they're pretty much better than even discovering a major oil deposit spanning a giant area, and it applies to my nation specifically because the entire northern border is literally just the Danube and according to him this would turn all of our economies here into the dominant manufacturing places in Europe since we could just "float" our production for minimal transportation cost upwards into Central Europe, destroying German manufacturing and their autobahns and so on. But then I realized that it's all bullshit and that he was making this argument to justify the infallibility of the American economy due to the Mississippi river.

All in all some good facts sprinkled with bias and propaganda. Go and watch his videos for geopolitics 101 but don't expect any actual great takes.

People here are so oblivious to anything. Telling anyone with a mortgage that interest rates may increase due to inflation or that having some food stores incase of a price rise or shortage of food might be a good idea due to fertiliser shortages is like talking to a wall.

America is in a strategically weak position because the wealth it enjoys comes from financial trickery and military flexing. de-dollarization is inevitable and unlike previous generations, the Americans of today wouldnt nuke the whole planet to stop it. at some point the Chinese will demand actual products for the things they sell us, and what does the US have to trade? well we can sell oil and food. what's another country that lives off oil and food? oh right, fucking Russia, where the people live like peons. I suppose the US still has a few high tech industries like big pharma, spaceX, silicon valley, etc but the human capital these keeps these companies competitive moves to America because of the standard of living being high. a sudden shock could chase the physical and human capital out to other parts of the world.
