See, now that's better, happy healthy prisoners that get medical treatment, do a bit of singing together and get the occasional belting. That's what Russian recruits dream about when the first join the army. Keep pushing vid's like this and they'll surrender in droves.

Next step from Russia is to act like nothing ever happened while regressing back to 2014 status quo

Strelkov: In my view, in order to expect victory in the current war, the following political and military-political actions must be taken as soon as possible:
1. finally and irrevocably renounce recognizing the legitimacy of the current Kiev authorities and promote the rapid establishment of new authorities in liberated territory. Preferably the authorities of Novorossia (on the territory of Kherson Oblast) and Malorossia ("Ukraine") - somewhere in Slobozhanshchina or in one of the liberated cities of Kyiv Oblast. Start diplomatic contacts with them and conclude a series of agreements on friendship, mutual assistance and (most importantly) their inclusion into the future Union State of Russia, the DNR, LNR, Novorossia and Malorossia ("Ukraine", if the Kremlin can't refuse this term). It is possible to create not united Novorossia and "Ukraine," but people's republics within the previously existing regions. What is important here is not the form, but the declaration of the principle of the complete reformatting of the former "Ukraine" and the creation of a legal alternative to the Kiev Nazis.
2. To begin forming volunteer armed forces and police formations from local supporters of Russia and opponents of the current regime. Naturally - with subordination to the Russian military command, but with a degree of autonomy (which will allow a much wider use of human resources, removing many of the restrictions inherent in recruiting into the Russian regular army).
3. Stop being ceremonious with representatives of the Kiev authorities (at least the most odious and intransigent ones), making them legitimate targets for influence by all kinds of weapons.
4. To understand, finally, that this war can only be FULLY WON or FULLY LOSSED. And urgently prepare troops (reserves) in sufficient numbers to win it. This cannot be done without a series of partial mobilizations in the Russian Federation itself. And without putting the economy on a war footing (within reason). (1/3)

It's unironically how they think. How is this possible?

Regarding the goose thing - kekd but also there are some people saying trained falcons are going to be most cost effective against small spy drones

The cargo cult will perish and Russia will just turn into a simple balkanized protectorate of Ukraine.

It's actually frightening how fast the Russian narrative is collapsing in on itself. They'll have a civil war by summer.
The 20 years of "happy gobbling up the resource rent" are over for good. Ahead of us lies a difficult period of foreign blockade and a series of wars. To avoid falling into hell of turmoil - we must act quickly and decisively, do not indulge in illusions that "soon we will live again as under grandfather with the same grandfather. "Grandfather" is not going anywhere from us anyway - this is understandable and inevitable (which cannot be said about a significant part of his entourage), but we will definitely not "live like before. The main task is simply to "stay alive. And to keep alive (both the state and a huge number of its citizens) is only possible by winning.
In addition to the previous text.
Once upon a time (about 6-7 years ago) I wrote more than once that the president "sits on two chairs, gradually moving apart under his ass. By "chairs" I meant: - "state-patriotic ideology" (represented by military and civilian officials of all varieties); - "liberal-oligarchic" economic model. Your humble servant also warned that this "sitting" - relatively comfortable before the "Crimean events" - could no longer remain stable. And the president will have to choose "which chair to finally move into. Or to fall "in between."
And, lo and behold, the choice has finally been made (with a HUGE delay, but still). Selected and seemingly "absolutely eternal" cadres of oligarchs have run abroad together with a part of their most odious servants. The unthinkable thing! - Ekho Moskvy is closed! They might as well just hang a barn door on the Yeltsin Center...
In spite of all the "fidgeting" (Putin would not be himself if he were going somewhere in a straight line, not with constant "wiggling" and attempts to "turn sideways or backwards") - the "chair has been chosen.
The world is already divided and you are unable to live outside of a political system. Still, you may live without ice cream, so reducing political problems to the ice cream problems seems wrong to me.
Talking about profits from neutrality:
In a situation when the bigger player attacks the less player, bigger player is interested in support or NEUTRALITY of other players.

And now begins the most interesting thing: to observe how firmly this initially frail and very much worm-strewn structure, assembled from elderly "party and Komsomol" cadres and unscrupulous thieving (and even more talentless) careerists of later formations. Not to mention the fact that no small part of the details "flowed over" from the neighboring (now rejected almost completely) "chair. And all this under the banners of "revival of Russia" and "state patriotism.
Can it - without radical replacement of the majority of parts - withstand the test of war? The question is purely rhetorical... Either the "parts" (starting with the most "pathos-important" and ending with "small cogs") will be gradually (but quickly - there is no time) replaced, or...
