Middle school a foreign language is required as well as critical thinking and 8th grade is considering what professional ambitions have while keeping an objective view of one’s abilities. Have high school train people for actual jobs. If the person wants to go to college then have them take classes to prepare for that. But train them in high school to be nurses and dental techs or be secretaries etc.
