There have been some US .mil folks who have posted in /skg/ threads in the past, mostly amused at how much stuff we get right and more amused at the stuff we get wrong. Like when we assume that we are listening to the US Air Force broadcasting EAMs, I got corrected on this by a mil poster years ago. Turns out they're sailors. I don't really see much shilling at all in /skg/, more just the desire to observe the happening and interpret the dot.
