The british and the dutch in particular, will have a very hard time accepting that their royal family profited from nazi concetration camp slave labour. Those days were really all about the western worlds rich coming together to fund a nazi war-machine that was meant to protect THEM from the soviets. The duke of edinburgh (Queen Elizabeth's Deceased Husband) practically admitted this when he stated

"In those days we were anti-communist because the Russians killed half my bloody family."

why does it have a klu klux klan flag?

>a fucking ramp
Looks cool.

Because it knows what's up.

They deliberately used a knockoff British flag to make this piece of junk seem like a vaguely legit warship

Most aircraft carriers have ramps. The US are the only retards with overcomplicated and unreliable flat launch systems.

>Russia's sole aircraft carrier
stolen from ukraine

Also, Russia has coasts on their 3 primary oceans and a rapidly warming ally on a fourth. They don't need aircraft carriers.

The US have working aircraft carriers, unlike russia, kek.

Okay, Ivan.

Read up on actual tactical readiness of the GF class or even Nimitz at this point.

They're useless tax sinks, the range of their fighters is shorter than the range of ASMs. CIWS are useless against hype maneuverable ASMs. There's no early warning for surface-skimming ASMs.

Stop with this retarded cope.

Carriers are obsolete.
Hypersonic missiles put them to the bottom.

okay ivan

Holy shit, the amount of vatnik copebots is something else

What exactly is the point of having twenty deluxe aircraft carriers when any war where a portion of them would be needed would end going nuclear anyway? The only reason we have so many weapons and ships and equipment is because a large portion of our economy relies on producing excess military equipment. The only reason China is making so many carriers is for a pissing content with US. I guess it projects power, but speaking softly while carrying a big stick does a better job. What got Kim to the table? Years of “thismis very concerning, we’re sending another 2,000 troops to South Korea, going to park two aircraft carriers there, and putting even more sanctions on you,” or Trump tweeting he has a bigger and better button that actually works.

This.

Carriers are basically only useful for policing poor African countries. China, India, Iran, Pakistan, Russia to name a few have weapons systems that naturally defeat CVNs.

No plane launched from US carriers is full-stealth. The F-35 is already obsolete and lacks the operational range to stop ASW launches.

ASSUME that a country launches 100 1 million dollar missiles at a CVN. The CIWS won't stop them all, and one is enough to cause it to list, and a lot more than one will get in. And oh, hey, would ya look at that, 100M in missiles puts 10 BILLION in hardware in the ship alone out of commission and likely under water.

Hell, the US hasn't deployed any of their CVNs within several hundred miles of the Chinese coast. The US can't even deploy CVNs to protect taiwan because they're too close to shore-launched ASWs.

CVN era is over.

>is retards
English isn't even your official language mutt.

That flag is older than your country

>Carriers are useless
>That's why Russia sank more than a billion trying to get one to work
Russiabots using US flags working overtime today

It's an ASW cruiser,bruh.

is this the one that spews a black smoke cloud like some kind of late 19th century barge as it moves?

Carriers are only useful in a global empire where they can bring poor countries to heel when they step out of line with airstrikes. They arent very useful against peer enemies in the modern age but they allow you to project air power globally.

:'(

Funny how Russia went out of its way to completely demonstrate how it's not a peer in any way, huh?
