The first week of the war there was a site someone made that was tracking all the oligarchs flights. Within a couple days of Russia invading, I remember Abramovich being in the US. It was supposed to be such a great moment. They probably attacked when they did because they calculated that by May it will all be over and they'll have time to prepare speeches about linking the two events. Their fake version of WWII and fake version of war in Ukraine. Instead the parade will be scaled down and the speeches will be about the necessity of continuous struggle against the whole world.
