No it's worse than that. It isn't just something like making different assumptions that you made that lead each to a differing path. They are immune to reason, because they completely lack any. They lack, either entirely or almost completely the ability to understand the essence of things. Rulers are those who tell people what rules to follow. "Now we are rulers, you follow OUR rules." they have no comprehension that rulers need to rule in some rational manner that make society work. They think it's just arbitrary. They demand people to do things wrong, or get punished, and I don't think they see the difference between the mockery of the clown world, and the real thing. Same with scientists. "Now we are scientists, we decide what you should believe". And so on. It's impossible to explain it to them, in their eyes they worked tirelessly to get to that position, and absolutely deserve to rule others.
