He does talk about methods. For example, how they screen and pre-select the people they choose from the west based on their vanity and susceptibility to indoctrination and then keep them flattered and intoxicated when they are in the USSR to keep them from noticing everything is off. These people then go back and go back and write raving accounts of how great the USSR is while further pushing liberal ideals because they've been subverted. These are usually people in high positions in academia or the press so their influence isn't negligible.
