I actually like listening to Mozart more than Beethoven, but Beethoven’s late symphonies were revolutionary. I also love the impressionist composers. Ravel and Debussy were just like, fuck sonata form and tonal centres, let’s make beautiful symphonic poems instead. A Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun is amazing.
