Gotta admit that was a great move from Russia. Putin knows how to use leverage, I’ll give him that

Why does this even matter?

It creates demand for rubles.
It makes their currency more valuable.

Also, it forces the EU to lift some of the sanctions, because it will be impossible to buy rubles otherwise.

Why would the EU even bother? Besides, I was reading that they wanted to introduce more sanctions against Russia.

Will the euros go for it?
They need too, unless they want no heat.
Will they actually let their people freeze?

Cuz EU is retarded and invested too much in Russian Oil, now they rely on it to power their homes. EU is a joke.

Why even post here when you have such an obvious lack of basic political insight? Literally lurk more, retard.

This is actually quite a turning point.

>EU companies need to pay in rubble
>Russian Central Bank and Russian banks are sanctioned
>nowhere to get rubbles
>Option A: unsanction certain banks to be able to pay in Rubbles
>Option B: cant pay for gas and russkis stop sending any more

Inb4 does it make gas cheaper as you pay in rubles?
Nope, the price is set in USD per the contracts, the currency of payment is in rubles

Shizo fantasies of Jewtin. This is a self embargo.

> Nobody can buy rubble if the Forex is still closed.
>If they open the Forex, the rubble will collapse even further.

Nobody can or wants to buy Russoid gas anymore.

Thanks monke

there's some counter-jewing happening with EU kvetching about ruble payments not being in the contract
wonder how that's gonna go

It's even worse than that. The Greta-cult retards have replaced most of the coal powerplants with natural gas powerplants. It's either buy Russian natural gas or freeze during the winter and enjoy frequent blackouts and daily brownouts during the summer.
The cost of consumer electricity has tripled. The cost of wholesale electricity has increased 5-6x. We are already committing economic suicide with the current sanctions. The 2008 economic crisis will seem like a fart in comparison, for Europe at least.

It will be amazing for the American middle class. The current world order only works for bankers. Factories will finally go up in America again and all this welfare queen bullshit will finally collapse.

I love how everyone thinks this is going to fuck America but it literally only fucks our elite who we all hate anyways. There will be a brief transition period but it's going to be well worth it.

Imagine falling for globalist nonsense.
If you can't hide your money under your bed then you're a slave.

watched the "bitcoin 2.0" alts rise and die, was fun.
Enlightment is learning that there is nothing missing from Bitcoin (and more things might await implementation, nothing will stop them).

Bells and whistles bullshit apes and cats can fuck off to noob blockchains instead (and even that shit, if needed, can be a sidechain or alike, to Bitcoin, so trully BTC is only CURRENCY we will use in the end, like Internet - TCP, IP not some shitty proprietary protos)

you can sell shit for rubles
but you'll have to lift some of the sanctions first

At this point Ivan nobody really cares what the contract says

They sanctioned the russian central bank... the rules are broken. As French Minister said "there is a full economic war against russia", and in war there are no rules

na they will probably be able to scrape enough gas to avoid chilly winters, but not enough to fulfill the demand of industry sector

>massive layout of personnel in the lower stratum of a paycheck the people that care the least about geopolitic and will be very agry

>sales that will be sweeped by the foreign industries with cheaper access to gas as they can provide cheaper prices

high probability of sanctions to bite in the back for EU

Might makes right my Slavic вpaт. What are they gonna do? Sanction you? Stop buying the gas? They're gonna fucking play ball or feel cold.

Attached: 1634010427703.png (640x391, 548.98K)

People are already fucking defaulting on their gas bills in Greece and settling their electricity bills to be paid in installments. Everyone is fucking pissed. Southern Europe is completely fucked, but even Western Europe is going to suffer if this shit continues. The EU has no fucking leverage against Putin.

We shot our shot and it wasn't enough, now's time for Russia to retaliate, and this right here is like a kick in the balls.

>uhhh, I'm so CONFUSED, why would Putin be mean to me after I shit in his breakfast and called him hitler
