Or, imagine you're on a dissident website or hanging out with your dissident friends, and they cut off the pleasure they were pumping into your head, and now, you all get in a massive fight and alienate each other.

Jep, that is the worrying part and perfectly plausible again as sonn as you have a way to get such implants in place. Control freaks indeed. Not even mentioning the collateral, would sure fry a few brains from some freak feedback loop.
