Religion is little more then a set of guidlines on how to live a structured life. It's a tutorial, no matter which religion (except jewish), it's always the same. Don't do bad things, be honest and fulfill your commitments. Some people simply don't need the tutorial to play the game. That does not mean that there isn't a lot to learn from the bible for example, even if you don't believe in it.

I met a 15yo jehovah witness girl when I was 17 at school, and she never talked me about her religion, but what she did to me, honestly, saved my life. She was so pure and innocent, so good and full of love. No I haven't become a Jehovah witness, but she enligthened me in christianity and good actions. I did her wrong, and in response she did me even better. She was literally perfect while we were together. Losing her was a hard hit for me. I'm a catholic now and I believe in God thanks to her.
