>printed on paper
so this is the shithole of a country the world feared for 40 years during the Cold War?

There's at least 700% price hike on both A4 and thermal paper.

But it would GREATLY speed up the shift to digitally signed documents.

Do they not have trees in Russia?

All the taxes are done digitally already.
Since the start of the year tax service issues digital signatures free of charge.
All the infrastructure is already in place and now that a box of paper costs more than the yearly digital exchange subscription people will have no choice but to go digital in everyday business.

there is plenty of paper but the chemicals to make it white are all imported

>On the trade front, Russia is a significant exporter of newsprint, kraftliner and, to a lesser extent, uncoated woodfree papers. However, since the Crimea conflict, Ukraine and Russia have exchanged trade restrictions affecting various paper grades, wood fiber and recycling papers, so effects on trade between the two countries are smaller than they would have been before 2014. Russia imports some 800,000-900,000 tonnes of paper and board, mostly from the EU (mostly boxboard and coated graphics), and that might be at risk. Russia’s import share of demand is above 30% for boxboard and roughly 25% for graphic papers.

Most of their industry is maintained by western companies. Even their biggest source of income, oil and gas was maintained by Halliburton until they decided to leave Russia because of the war.

You’d say so what if they leave? Well there’s a list on Wikipedia of companies that operate in the oil fields servicing industry. Which is where they repair and expand oil drilling operations. Most are from Texas. The rest are American, Canadian, British, a few European and then about 3-4 Indian and Asian ones. Only one Russian one, Rosfnet , which already depended on Halliburton.

Pic related: Investors aren’t confident in Russias ability to export its oil, because countries stopped buying and their maintenance has left.

You need chemicals, and machinery. Most of which is imported.

Good morning sirs and ping pongs are getting discounts of their life

Can't wait to work on building the second gas pipeline to China!

>how will the nation which includes siberia

the real shitfest is going to be when the parts required to maintain logistics of such a massive country start to run out.

Boomers from the entire world print their emails.
