The US population would not support a war over Taiwan. The chances of US success in defending it are next to zero, and China's tolerance for sacrifice is far, far higher than America's. We can't afford it anyway unless the plan is to rain nukes on China.

China can destroy Taiwan infrastructure, airports and AA without sending any naval forces at all and later just bring the troops directly lainding in Taipei airport.

Do you know how many ballistic missiles Taiwan has? The channel islands alone have enough howitzers mounted on them to flatten two tier 1 cities in about 20 minutes of shelling. The entire reason that the current situation is such a deadlock is because Taiwan has the ability to cause massive indiscriminate damage using conventional weapons if it's pushed to do so.
Taiwan is well aware that they're going to be hit by massive amounts of ordnance in the event of an invasion. Hence why you have so many installations like Chiashan AFB - with 7 launch runways buried under a mountain and sealed by blast doors.
The vast majority of Taiwan's hardware is shuffled around between concealed positions, and hardened storage facilities that are distributed throughout the island so as to make a massive conventional bombardment as difficult as possible.
The coalition during Desert Storm deployed 1200 combat aircraft, with far more experience, against an air defence network that was an entire order of magnitude smaller than what Taiwan has - and it still took that coalition nearly 3 weeks to dismantle. The calculus on that changes a whole lot when you consider that Taiwan is well within range to strike back against population centers.

as far i am aware, theres very limited deployment of EW capabilities in Ukraine, due to them being the most obvious losses. Jamming/active signal sources are very easy identified and hit by mortar/artillery shooting at coordinates fire.

For EM we have anti-drone troops with every column, but they basically turn on/off only if spotting one for the above reason.

Since we didnt go total jamming and EW in Ukraine, operating such stuff is job as dangerous as sapeurs, since first target to be hit.
