At the time I thought it was boring. And to be honest I was only 17 in 2010 so of course I would've thought the 00s were boring. In retrospect things were actually really damn nice and I wish I took the time to actually live in the moment and enjoy life, and the dying remnants of real peace and quiet.
I remember complaining to a friend in 2011 how "nothing exciting is going to happen to us." "Why couldn't we have been born 20 or 30 years earlier", usually short-sighted kid nonsense.
