I have a remote job. I have been remote for 16 years. The vax was still required. I filed a religious exemption. Talk to a lawyer and get a religious exemption. Not all remote jobs are safe. They required the regular flu vax for my remote job before covid (I'd gotten a doctor's note for legitimate reasons - precious vax injuries leaving me with autoimmune diseases). My medical exemption was denied even though I am allergic to ingredients in all of them.

i already have a degree i was just looking for a career change, also to save on gas and hopefully move somewhere cheaper. i have a friend who is a CPA, im not sure i have the autism for math to enjoy that. i feel like my mind would go blank and i would get crosseyed after staring at an excel spreadsheet for more than 5 minutes

im scared of a lot of those places being magnets for spammers and data harvesters though. how many of those posts are legit? and how many random data miners are you sending your home address and contact info to? id rather apply to the company directly on their website

accounting is barely math, it's complex rules applied to really simple addition/subtraction.
plus it's super easy to branch out into non accounting/tax work, like consulting, internal audit, IT audit, etc.
