it’s not a disease at all, it’s a completely normal orientation of personality. Very different from autism or ocd where you can see the person is suffering or “behind” relative to their peers. Problem isn’t with the individual but with the expectations imparted on him by society

I am convinced that most ADHD cases come from the use of PC and smartphones. Saw it with my own behaviour, got massive concentration problems after years of pc usage, that I didn't have in my childhood. Many such cases. SAD

Yeah, young children don't know any better and I don't think they want to take mind-altering substances. With early intervention, therapy skills can help ADHD/ADD behaviors. I'm sure you know drugs are just part of a treatment that may or may not be necessary and taking amphetamines alone is not going to solve the core issues if you truly have ADHD/ADD.

I have come to the view that ADD / ADHD behaviors are only disorders relative to the complete dysfunctional lunacy of American public schooling. A 10-year-old should not be given powerful pharmaceuticals because they don't want to listen to their fat dyke teacher and want to go play outside instead

I feel like modern medicine lacks the political willpower and technology to detect and discuss variance in brain formation. Arguably, you could call things like Aspergers, ADD, and Autism brain deformations classified by symptoms instead of structural diagnosis of the brain.

In the future, I believe many abnormalities, deformations, and deviations beyond the mean brain structure will get classified, diagnosed, and treated very differently than how we do these things today. Biological denialism which is a subset of racial realism is the biggest obstacle to proper medical treatment of brain abnormalities.

I should followup and show agreement with many of the sentiments expressed here that institutional systems are poorly fitted serve the standard human brain. As such, I agree that we attempt to solve the problem at an individual level than collective because Western culture’s toxic individualism makes solutions on an individual level more readily available and convenient.

Adhd is real and gives you so much brain fog, that a lot of the time I don’t absorb what people tell me.
On top of that, I was tested and determined to have gifted levels of intelligence.
