What was your motive for studying? So you can be more knowledgeable than other people or because you love God through His word?
>Jesus wept.
Why? (I think I know the answer, but have never heard anyone say it.)
Because God cares. He cries because of of us.
Zeph 3:17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
is this guy telling the truth?
>"Love your enemies." "Bless them that curse you." "Do good to them that hate you." "Pray for those that persecute you." "Judge not." "If a man takes your coat, give him your cloak as well." "Slaves, obey your masters." "Let every man be subject to the governing authorities."
The Romans, who had always been virile, clear headed and practical, who had conquered the world, now gradually turned into limp jellyfish, into pacifist milksops. Their once clear and practical minds turned from the real world to a fantasy world of spooks in the skies. Instead of taking care of their responsibilities in the real world, the only world in which man has ever been known to live, their concern now turned to "saving souls" — their own and others from a fiery "hereafter". Whereas they had been extremely proficient in building a superior civilization and a better world, they now abandoned all this and a mad frenzy about spooks in the skies preoccupied their minds. Mass insanity set in, and the Jews had done it all with their ultimate weapon — selling the Romans on a suicidal religion. - Ben Klassen (1981)
Well our hope of everlasting life depends on whether we continue to draw close to God by studying his Word !—John 17:3; Jude 21.
As I grow in knowledge of God, my faith becomes stronger.
Faith will help all of us to please God. (Hebrews 11:1, 6) It moves me to repent and to make beneficial changes in my way of life. :) —Acts 3:19.
Funny you should ask because we studied this account just this sunday in church !

I don't think he was mourning for Lazarus.
Are female politicians allowed based on biblical teachings?
The answer is no I hope you agree since you are a big theologian.
What's your opinion on catholicism
Do you think you will get into heaven?
>Ask me anything (and I'll answer it)
>here's our Jehovahs Witness blog to answer your question
Acts 10:34, 35 states: “God is not partial, but in every nation the man who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”
For this reason, nobody can rightly consider one race to be superior to another
The Bible says that faith works through love not through gaining knowledge about God. The Bible also says that we can know about Jesus while not know Him.
Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
Matt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matt 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matt 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
While not teaching publicly at meetings, women did teach on a private level !
In his letter to Titus, the apostle Paul stated:
“Let the aged women be teachers of what is good; that they may recall the young women to their senses to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sound in mind, chaste, workers at home, good, subjecting themselves to their own husbands, so that the word of God may not be spoken of abusively.” (Titus 2:3-5)
In the privacy of the home, women also taught their children, whether boys or girls. This is evident from what Paul could write to Timothy:
“I recollect the faith which is in you without any hypocrisy, and which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, but which I am confident is also in you.” (2 Tim. 1:5) “From infancy you have known the holy writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through the faith in connection with Christ Jesus.”—2 Tim. 3:15.
Moreover, as disciples of Jesus Christ, women participated in teaching God’s truth to others. (Matt. 28:19, 20)
For example, we read about Priscilla sharing with her husband in giving spiritual help to Apollos
The Scriptures report:
“They took him into their company and expounded the way of God more correctly to him.”—Acts 18:26.
What's the esoteric significance of the two remaining tribes being Judah and Benjamin?
How can you force yourself into believing any of this? I like christian aesthetics but the concepts are too far removed from my life, I hardly know any jew and not willing to introduce jews in my life just for the sake of a superior Being that likes to surround with shylocks
The Roman Catholic Church teaches many doctrines that are in disagreement with what the Bible declares.
These include apostolic succession, worship of saints or Mary, the trinity, prayer to saints or Mary, papacy, hellfire, infant baptism, transubstantiation, plenary indulgences, involvement in wars and politics, the sacramental system, and purgatory.
While Catholics claim Scriptural support for these concepts, none of these teachings have any solid foundation in the clear teaching of Scripture. These concepts are based on Catholic tradition, not the Word of God. In fact, they all clearly contradict Biblical principles.
God selects a limited number of faithful Christians who, after their death, will be resurrected to life in heaven. (1 Peter 1:3, 4)
They will serve alongside Jesus as kings and priests for 1,000 years. (Revelation 5:9, 10; 20:6) They will form the “new heavens,” that will rule over the “new earth"
The Bible indicates that 144,000 people will be resurrected to heavenly life. (Revelation 7:4)
God promises everlasting life on EARTH for MOST good people.—Psalm 37:11, 29, 34.
Jesus said: “No man has ascended into heaven.” (John 3:13) He thus showed that good people who died before him, such as Abraham, Moses, Job, and David, did not go to heaven. (Acts 2:29, 34) Instead, they had the hope of being resurrected to life on earth.—Job 14:13-15.
The resurrection to heavenly life is called “the first resurrection.” (Revelation 20:6) This indicates that there will be another resurrection. It will be an earthly one.
I won't go to heaven and I prefer it that way, lol. My friend's grandma is one of them.
how have you studied it for 28 years and not already come to the clearly evident conclusion that it a shitty cult that spawned from the hebrew religion that was an inversion of the actually good native faiths of Europe and Egypt?
How can you be a white man reading the jew book and think that kike god yahweh actually cares for you?
>inb4 'w-whites are israel' cope
Jesus repeatedly calls the Romans 'gentiles', 'dogs' 'non-jews', if the son of yahweh (also being yahweh himself) says the Romans were so clearly not israel then that's literally, the word of god. There is no coping for this. It's a non-white religion.
big mac or whopper?
The dragon is the devil but who is the beast and the false prophet? Do you believe that the mark of the beast is spiritual or carnal/a literal mark on the flesh.
Rev 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
Rev 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
Rev 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Rev 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
Did you ever doubt your faith?
Im having issues.
Serious questions
>Why do people in the bible get spoon-fed miracles and visions to kickstart their belief in God? and yet I just have to believe based on fucking nothing
Like Peter, this fuckin guy got to hang out with Jesus Christ in the fucking flesh, actually denied him three times, and STILL became first pope of the church
Like wtf I have more credibility than Peter just by laying in my bed
“This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.”—JOHN 17:3
To gain salvation, you must exercise faith in Jesus and demonstrate that faith by obeying his commands.—Acts 4:10, 12; Romans 10:9, 10; Hebrews 5:9.
The Bible shows that you must have works, or acts of obedience, to prove that your faith is alive. (James 2:24, 26)
However, this does NOT mean that you can earn salvation.
It is “God’s GIFT” based on his “undeserved kindness,” or “grace.”—Ephesians 2:8, 9
>“Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will (Matthew 7:21)
Indeed, Jesus prophesied that many would claim to be Christian yet fail to obey his commands and that he would reject such ones.
Is baptism really necessary for salvation and thus only believing not?
I was reading this
Is the term trinity ever mentioned verbatim anywhere in the Bible.
why do you larp as a hebrew and worship a jewish rabbi?
Also what denomination are you?
who quoted and highly recommended reading this
