US is basically finished, could have a resurgence if the current political elite are purged, but that probably won't be for a generation. China and Russia are obvious contenders, but without US as a common enemy I think they'll fall back into old rivalries. Most of the world hates China worse than Russia so I could easily see a scenario where Russia comes out the dominant super power. Alternatively we could see the emergence of an Islamic super state in the shadow of a war between Russia/China, aggressive and driven by religious fervor, poised to take out whatever's left.
