I never played FO4. It looks wrong. I want to play in the post apocalypse that game has trees and leaves and sunshine and shit.
I like Fallout 3 a lot and played 1 and 2 as a kid.
Fallout 3 looks like the post apocalypse and feels like it.
I don't know what the fuck they did with Fallout 4. The landscape could have been anywhere. A fantasy game. Montana. But not the apocalypse.

Same problems as skyrim
Comfy environments, but shit depth.
Base building is fun but by the time you have the resources and skills to do it fully you have already completed the few non-radiant sidequests that exist

It's a great game especially when you kill the entire Cabot family dismember them and put their heads in the fridge in their basement. What other game can you do this at?

fallout 3 was fun and interesting. fallout 4 was boring and i stopped playing about 45 minutes into the game. all games after 1999 suffer from massive retardation and bullshit that prevents them from properly functioning 99% of the time unless you re align the sub orbital compact solar systems of the planets personally just for that one game

nah fo4 was average, new vegas was the best fallout game

fallout 4 is boring. dialogue is uninteresting. fallout 1 and 2 were better than anything after it. I liked fallout 3 and nv though but same old boring shit.

FO1 had the best writing.
FO2 was good.
FNV was golden.
FO3 and 4 had utter trash writing.

Love FO4. Great atmosphere and sound.

I thought it was a fun game but it had problems. Either the FOV was too low or the guns were too big because it just felt zoomed in. Many of the characters are unlikable but there are a few good ones. I liked the rare random events while traveling, wish there were more interactions like that so it felt more alive. The settlement system was cool but kind of shitty in how it actually worked. All in all, I'd say it was good, not great.

I don't hate it but I can't play a game where an "Assault rifle" looks like a machine gun from ww1

story in video games is fucking atrocious 100% of the time and Fallout is no exception. give me some fucking bing bing wahoo story where the bad guy stole the girl I need to save any day. I don't give the slightest shit about the writing of stories in video games.
