Secession would strengthen the Americans economy again. The Anti-federalist take will bring jobs back to each state differently. Each region will bring its own production to the table.
The rust belt will come back, the south will most likely strengthen ties with Mexico making it into a neighboring country that is not going to rely on immigration and instead strengthening both countries economies and bringing illegal immigration under control.
