Likewise longing to be a woman or a man does not make one so. Those who are heteronormative cisgender do not long to be men and thus become them, for many it is not even a consideration. They merely are what they are.

The fact that some people break sacred conceptions of masculinity or feminity is not proof that they are biologically valid as the character they are choosing to play.
