I mean do you honestly expect them to storm a city the size of Kiev? They'd need like 300,000 troops to accomplish this considering Ukraine apparently has allocated 100,000 troops to defend the city. Not to mention the city is full of hundreds of commie blocks, potentially over a thousand. Even if they decided to storm the city, look at Mariupol, where there are still 100,000 civilians inside the city and only 6,000 troops defending it. Russia can't just level entire areas where Azov is holding out because of the amount of civilians. With Kiev the problem is even worse, the only reasonable strategy is to turn the human shield strategy against Ukraine and starve and siege the city until either the civilians leave and then the leveling can begin or the city surrenders (not happening).
