man last night i managed to keep the mask on until right before the party was going to break up and everybody go home but then the one Elizabeth Warren staffer chick started talking about how Zelensky was a hero and the 2014 Euromaidan Revolution of Dignity was a triumph for democracy, and I guess the whisky was working on me because I brought up how Ukraine is a oligarch-mafia-owned kleptocracy installed by the CIA revolution and they are committing war crimes by turning all citizens into combatants and stationing materiel near civilian areas

hoo boy. not the right thing to do. should have just kept my mouth shut. same thing with BLM and the vaccine/COVID stuff. even if you strictly stick to facts that you can source, and present them in a personable, diplomatic manner- people really, really don't like having their strongly-held belief systems challenged.

idk if you have noticed at all but "sharing redpills" rarely goes well unless the person has already started down the path. and even then, you have to follow what this guy said: i call it the 10% rule: whenever talking to normies about conspiracy theories or anything diverging from the mainstream, only share 10% of what you know, at 10% of the emotional intensity you feel about the topic.

so, for example, i have spent the last 8 years or so obsessively researching conspiracy theories about the shadowy cabal that rapes and murders children. but if you go all wild-eyed and start talking about Regina Louf and Michel Nihoul and Axel Vervoort's castle next to the director of NATO, or Henry Lee Lucas and Otis Toole the Matamoros mass graves and the Hand of Death and Dick Cheney's human hunting parties, you'll scare off the females.
