most pizza places pay min wage while you're in the store waiting to take a delivery, then tipped wages when you're on the road (like $6/hr)
you also get a bonus about $1.25 per delivery
pay seems pretty shitty but then the tips make it $20/hr. If tipping was done away with, for the store to pay me the same labor costs would be 40-50% of the stores income instead of 20-30%

this is probably true. when i was in germany i was able to drive for 7 hours without getting fatigued but in australia i can only drive 90 mins max before needing a 20 minute break. in germany i was never driving below 240 km/h
