hey what the fuck is this wiki bullshit in the pasta
/SKG/ SKYKING GENERAL : Whirlybird Edition
And someone explained to me why Russian helicopters have these meme rotor blades? It can't possibly be simpler or more efficient than a single blade and a tail rotor.
its so they can maneuver better
it may be less prone to failures of the tail rotor, where a lot of impacts occur ?
Regular helicopters had trouble maneuvering?
a bit, you have strange effects on the rotor like precession and the inertia of the tail, here you can adjust azimut really fast and the heli body doesn't want to turn with the blades all the time
Morning frens, coffee in hand, listening to EAMs with autonotch cleaning up the FSK. One just finished but I can barely hear another EAM in the background, must be only audible on the American SDRs.
The good live stream has an Odessa cam now too (just ignore the flapping thing)
In a rush to bump I forgot the link: youtube.com
Also looks like there's cops in the Lvivska St cam flashing lights at some people/pulling people over? I wonder if they're checking for saboteurs etc like they're doing a lot recently
namefriend activities
increased stability/control and power versus a tail rotor, as I understand. tradeoff is mechanical complexity and price
missed em because I was cooking chili but I expect more repeats of series EAMs
Good afternoon frens, any good happening lately?
