Fucking devil's music hypnotized everyone and now world normies will eat literal shit if they're told it's American shit
>Fucking devil's music hypnotized everyone
you mean the string instruments that exist for 1000s of years in every culture and were used in the Bible to praise God?
That's an electric guitar
what makes it evil by itself?
It was all about sexualization and lust on the youth on a Christian culture that had promoted sexual purity. It was promoted by people for this specific reason, Elvis was selected over more or equally talented people, because of his outrageous lasciouvness. Listen and watch Elvis early stuff, he's doing a literal hump dance and caressing himself, he's usually doing a black blues impersonation, widely associated at the time with degeneracy and drunkenness and promiscuousness. Listen to the throaty moany way he sings the chorus of Heartbreak Hotel, it's completely over the top, like a sex line worker, he would be laughed as such a try hard today. But imagine what this did to a very conservative 1950s culture. That was why they did it.
The whole storming the gym and proclaiming it the devil's music like you see in the movies wasn't some kooky religious thing. What he was doing was completely outrageous, knowingly actively offending the moral sensibilities of the time, and directing it at the youth. There was no question he was driving them to lust and immorality. It was easy to see what was going on.
electric guitar didn't start with Elvis wtf you're talking about? If anything it came from blues, Elvis wasn't even a decent player and he wasn't a songwriter.
And yet Elvis was the one broadcast to Europe and the world as the King of Rock n Roll and set all this off. British rock n roll emerges a decade later ultimately because of Elvis. So why was he the one chosen?
uninformed and ignorant retards like you are the reason I unironically started hating Christianity. want to talk about satan at least do your fucking homework on the topics you want to lecture others about
>British rock n roll emerges a decade later ultimately because of Elvis.
no it doesn't you fucking moron. it basically starts with Marshall developing and selling his own amplifiers and Clapton releasing Blues Breakers
Lecturing? You're pretending I don't know things I know. Yes I know Elvis was not the first rock singer and didn't even the electric guitar but he is the biggest reason it's a worldwide phenomenon rather than a small regional niche in southern United States. I asked you a question. Why him?
>no bird inlays
faggot
you think Elvis brought promiscuity to a broader light? what about Muddy Watters and lyrics of some of his most known songs? or perhaps to you the hip movement is what seals the deal and opens the gates of hell?
what about the latino and jazz music breaking through the early 20's and 30's? you're a retard knowing nothing if you think Elvis had that much of an impact
Did Clapton grow up in the south listening to his local black blues singers? That's what Hank Williams and Elvis and Buddy Holly did. What was Clapton's first exposure to any of this music? Probably on his television set in 1953 at 8 years old. Elvis Presley.

You wouldn't know about Muddy Waters if they hadn't promoted Elvis. The Beatles and Clapton loved Muddy Waters and grew up growing to their local American import record store. What do you think sparked this interest in a regional nigger music from across the ocean for young Englanders?
>You wouldn't know about Muddy Waters if they hadn't promoted Elvis.
you're fucking retarded if you wrote that unironically
>What do you think sparked this interest in a regional nigger music from across the ocean for young Englanders?
if you had any clue about music history you'd know
Christian retards like you two in this thread really are the modern day pharisees. I'd respect your views if you actually had any knowledge on the topic, but you're just blatantly stupid
>'culture'
Some alcoholic, 'sex n' rocknroll baby', some crappy jingle.
I wouldn't call it 'culture', just a pre-negro era.
What the fuck did you just say about the king?
and yet everyone tries to copy it, really makes you think. why won't they invent their own degenerated crappy jingle that everyone else wants to copy?
Son, if you ever say another derogatory word about Elvis Aron Presley in my presence again, I will kick the living shit out of you!
How is that a good thing? American culture is a race for the bottom, and we're dragging you down with us.
show me a better culture then
Elvis Aron Presley tongue my anus
All you keep doing is saying I know nothing while I tell you things you didn't know. All of those old black blues singers became famous only because of renewed interest in the emergence of rock n roll during the mainstream explosion of the 50s and 60s. Instead of venerated they would be forgotten as it would have merely been niche regional music that lasted a short time. You wouldn't know them for the same reason I don't know who sang some particular Bavarian folk music of the 1920s. It had no impact until people like
*Like Elvis
it used to be good before it all got pozzed to hell
Pop music is nothing more than technology.
The electric guitar was a new technology, it lasted a decade before hit songs needed newer technology and synths came in, then there were fader automation and various recording techniques that made new sounds, then synths evolved in the 80s, and outboard gear and drum machines evolved and those made new sounds, then DAWs came in, those made new sounds.
Pop is a quest for sounds. Period. The instruments mean very little.
>you're fucking retarded if you wrote that unironically
No he's dead right. 4% of bands on 20th century record company rosters earned all the money.
So every blues, jazz, whatever was being financed by the same couple dozen big selling groups.
Paul Reed Smith can't even be classified as guitars. Boomers buy Gibson and Fender to LARP like rock starts from their youth. Nobody's written an original piece of music on one of them in 40 years, PRS are actually used by people that make songs.
The last hit guitar record was Santana and he was playing a PRS on it.
Rock music is an anglo thing. Brits and aussies also contribute
