We are witnessing a planned collapse of the world as we know it. Sure it (((appears))) to be triggered by the Corona Plandemic, look closer and find out that it is not the case. The death knell was sounded on Aug 15th 1971. /GHG/ will be a record of the greatest collapse of the developed world in real time for posterity.
Brace yourself, we are only getting started.

> Ten Commandments for dealing with Shillfags: 1. Provide book recommendations and learning advices, and best practices. 2. Provide educated opinions on current, past and future happenings. 3. Advice newfag anons and answer their questions, clarify doubts. 4. Post precious metal stacks, do not post monero stacks. 5. Do not give (You)s to those you think are shilling/psyopping. 6. Provide professional, personal, systemic, social advices or anything that might be needed in the days to come. 7. Ask or provide advices on prepping: professional, personal, economic, emotional, psychological, social, geopolitical or otherwise. 8. Be kind to lurkers and newfags, remember (You) too were a newfag once. 9. Financial shills are much more educated, experienced and evolved than the shitty pfizer or pharma fags - never underestimate the psyop shill, keep 5th generation informational warfare tactics in mind. 10. This too shall pass, this too shall pass.
> Systemic Cyber attack, in my opinion, is not feasible until late 2030s. Cyber pandemic will be equivalent to World War 2 (Covid pandemic was equivalent to WW1). > Also, over the next two decades, cryptos not directly controlled by the central banks have to be mainstreamed so as to placate normies and make them get used to the idea of digital currency. > Once non CB cryptos reach a critical size only then a cyber pandemic will be worthwhile. > Over the next few decades we might see a ramp up of Hollywood movies and TV series about solar flare and Die Hard 4.0.
This place has some survival pdfs available. Some are just taken from wikipedia but it's something and it's easy to fit on a flash drive. getyourstick.com/
I highly suggest Back to Basics. Depending on the shtf scenario you might not be able to access electronic media, having something that covers a wide amount of topics and is a physical book is worth it.
This is somewhat tangential, but since I already have large positions in PMs and Monero I've been looking at alternative/unconventional investments (mostly centered around collectible things I'm interested in).
I have a vintage Rolex, a muscle car, and a bunch of milsurp firearms. The next thing I was looking at was getting into first edition books. I know that's vaguely in the same realm as art collecting, but that's something completely outside the scope of my knowledge. I was looking up first edition copies of The Lord of the Rings and they usually go for between $20,000 to $50,000 which is completely outside of my budget. I do however see that first edition, first print copies of The Silmarillion go for around $500 which is a suitable for my budget. My question for you guys who are familiar with the art/book world if you think it would likely hold it's value relative to inflation (or even appreciate in value).
I told a couple normies at work to buy some silver they dont listen.

I honestly think your aspirations here are good but misplaced. Any Forums is basically a dead website populated by bots and Any Forums in particular is mostly NGO shills. The catalog is all porn that follows the scheme of "[nsfw] WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR X?" and since Hiromoot has probably sold the site to trannies already this is permitted intentionally.
The people on Any Forums are basically the right version of what you see on Twitter. They're people who come to find information that conforms with what they already understand and news presented in a way they already agree with. Everybody else is a shill.

The biggest issue with collectables besides hoping they go up in value is liquidity. Are you able to convert them to fiat or something else in a reasonable amount of time. You might have something worth a ton but if there's hardly any buyers you might be in for a hurting especially if you need to cash out quickly. You'll also likely have to pay a fee through an auction service or something if you're dealing with high end stuff.
I collect MTG cards, if I want to sell stuff easily in bulk to a store I might get 70% of market value. If I want more it'll take up my time selling and shipping stuff, and whatever platform I sell through will probably take at least a 10% fee. Stuff like that needs to be considered.
I am a gold bug user, how much silver have you stolen though? It is unlikely I will be is Goymany in the coming time. I'm gonna scoot at the first opening.

I've considered Pokemon cards (never got into MTG when I was a kid) but my big issue is that from what I hear fakes and resealed foil packs are a major problem.
Liquidity is a big concern with all of this kind of stuff, but realistically I tend to hold the things I buy because I like them. Although I take appreciation, collector's value, etc. seriously because I can't justify the purchase unless I can make it into an investment pitch for myself (doesn't necessarily have to make me a lot of money if I sell it, but I like buying things that will at least retain value and have a reasonable chance of appreciating).
I'm American and I'm going back to the US. You're welcome to come. A friend of mine from Germany is going to join my homestead and we're working on making it happen.
It's hard to say. In that picture, the 5RMs add up to a little over 1 troy ounce and the 10RM commemorative coins add up to about 3 troy ounces. The reichsmarks are a little bit different but are likely 1 troy ounce together with the kaiserreich mark. I have a few more on my table.
I have more silver in recently minted bars but I like old currency more and I've made a game of trying to find it. I'll be visiting Ireland next month and intend to find old Irish silver scillings while there. I have some coins in the mail from the Netherlands with Dutch Koningin Wilhelmina I on them, including one of her from the 1890s when she was a child. I bought the latter over spot but a modern era young monarch is a very special thing and I wanted it as a collectible.
The hobby really shows my age. When I was in my early 20s I never saw myself wanting to settle down and wanted to die a martyr for some great correction. Nowadays I've determined the greatest thing I can do is trundle along, look out for me and mine, and wait for the boomers to finally die.

Chinaman has gotten good at printing over the years which is a reason to avoid singles for mtg as a possible investment. The safest way for mtg is to buy sealed boxes (make sure they have the wotc wrap and then sell them a few years later. Sealed product if it's a good set can 2x or 3x in a few years easily. I haven't really gotten into pokemon. I know that Any Forums has a thread for it and a regular in /smg/ posts high graded cards every now and then.
>I'm American and I'm going back to the US. You're welcome to come. Thank you, some parts of America will indeed survive and thrive the shitstorm. Unfortunately my partner is shitskin, so I am not sure if it would work out there. Next decade is going to be quite volatile, I am trying the crypto and skills angle much or more than the pmg angle.. I will have to be in the move. > When I was in my early 20s I never saw myself wanting to settle down and wanted to die a martyr for some great correction. Such is the arrogance of youth. I was a patriot too. Here I am. > Nowadays I've determined the greatest thing I can do is trundle along, look out for me and mine, and wait for the boomers to finally die. I resonate with that, additionally I have a set of things to complete before I die. > I have more silver in recently minted bars but I like old currency more and I've made a game of trying to find it. The collection sounds nice, how is the social contract in the region you are planning to move into?
