I see, a lot of the towns in interior south florida aren't even incorporated. Might consider buying something there, I love southwest Florida but I'm not a big beach guy so it fits.
Big surges in population growth never last anyways. My town was one of the fastest growing in the country, grew more than 100% in 2000 and more than 100% again in 2010, now the population is stagnant.
Coastal Florida will probably have an exodus eventually once real estate prices get too high.
