You're the one who made the claim, bro. I don't think there's a single state where growing gardens is illegal. At least not at the state level. There are some municipalities with incredibly dictatorial zoning laws and such, but never anything as large as an entire state.

The only thing i can think of is if you are producing x amount of food you may need to file for a different zoning permit? Or perhaps get a business license? I've never heard of that and i lived in a fucking desert that has been in a drought for like 15 years.

If Florida tried enforcing this, they would quite literally have to send armed agents out to enforce it. It's not worth the money.

Florida is weird because they have a lot of planned communites, mostly for retirees, where you don't reaaaaally own the land, and pay a yearly fee to live there. Kinda like a condo or an apartment but it's a house. it might be a situation like that. Might be a super aggressive HOA, and HOA laws are fucking awful.
