110% absolutely. That being said I think places that have plenty of land should build large. Large single family homes, ranches. adobes and luxury chalets all the way. We really should build based on the environmental CONDITIONS (not necessarily needs) of that area. If there's a lot of wind in an area. There needs to be lots of round surfaces that the wind can blow around and away from. I think New Orleans should be a floating city that when there's a hurricane the whole city just packs up and rides on up through the rivers into the north part of the Mississippi and into Tennessee and Kentucky. When the hurricane is done just drive the boats back down the the semi-permanent city.
