The same number of people get shot and stabbed and shit but they just get patched up in the hospital better than they did in the 1980 so they live. No it’s more than that. 5x is the lower bound. Reality is closer to 30x (3x for antibiotics, 3x for trauma surgery, 3x for trauma centers every few blocks.). So even thought the murder rate is about the same as the 70s and prohibition, the overall violence rate is MASSIVELY up. And it really takes off in the late 1950s guess what movement started then? The civil rights movement.

No this is about arrest level data. No DA shenanigans. Aggravated assault from the arrest perspective means someone could have been killed. Which is also effectively impossible to hide as it means a hospital trip for the victim.
Homoicide rate stays constant because once it gets to 10, wealthy and powerful people and the sir families start experiencing murders, at which point the cops arrest every motherfucker around. Plus this is the same logic as WWI helmets: helmets get introduced wounded rate goes up. Shit helmets dont work! Oh wait death rate is halved and what previously would have been dead is now wounded.

Cars have been run down for God knows how long and the staff has been "optimized" several times. Staff is government clinics is also not paid good.
