Fact is there is a huge population in Ukraine that support Russia and want to be part of Russia. Those people are persecuted by Ukrainians. So yes he has a chance of support. How much of one depends on areas. One more factor you can bet propaganda on his side is exaggerating this support. He’s being told he’s a liberator and most of the people support him.
