Estimates vary, last US estimate was at least 7 thousand killed and 14 thousand wounded. Ukraine said 15k killed a week ago, and Russia said 500 killed about 2 weeks ago. The Russian figures even at face value would mean several thousand have been killed by now, so I think the US estimate is pretty reasonable here and potentially on the lower side.
