Volunteer groups are filled with people whose personality are such shit that they can't get human interaction any other way without paying for it. There are also a bunch of people who "volunteer" because they have court ordered community service hours. Almost no one is there because they believe in whatever cause they're volunteering for. The few who do show up quickly stop due to the first two groups.

Volunteering is great. You help people with no money who just need a break, better your community, foster a sense of honor, pride and sacrifice in yourself, have the possibility to contact new interesting people who might be useful for later on in your life, have a story to tell later on which impresses friends and girls and looks good on your CV. The only reason to not volunteer is if you are a fucking nigger who prefers wasting your life with the electric jew or porn instead of making something worth telling out of your life.
In my case I taught at a public school for free for 6 months after my real job as an accountant. I made lots of friends my age who also had that drive to help others so I knew they werent backstabbing pricks, had lots of fun with poor children and barely felt like work and I hope I made an impression on them that they can also make it if they study hard or start a business and dont act like niggers. I added this exp to my CV and thanks to it plus my qualifications I got hired at a private university as a full time professor.
