A short while ago, I realised that the Universe is infinite, and that there are infinite universes within the Multiverse, and that there are infinite Multiverses, Megaverses, Omniverses etc.. And the natural outcome is that there are infinite layers to the cosmos. Political implications?

Actual infinites (versus potential infinites) are impossible with respect to physical reality.
The universe is how we describe the system comprised of all things in reality. A multiverse is something we have zero tangible evidence for, and a contradiction in terms. Technically, a multiverse would be the universe. Scientists are just throwing that term out these days to try and do and end run around the Big Bang, given that it suggests God.

I don't think it's going to happen because the vast majority of people don't care about race. It might be that the world divides into regions for different ideologies instead of people with different ideologies living together, then everybody's happy. We need faster than light travel to make going into space more than we already are worth it really, hopefully it'll happen in our lifetimes
