What actually IS facism?

People use it as a slur, but what does it actually mean to be a fascist?

Fasces is bundle of sticks that are strong together. Fascism is word to negate that by stigma

Telling people to wear masks is fascism so it has something to do with that

Wearing masks, getting vaccinated and defending your country from a neighbouring invader. That's what fascism is. Or at least that's what Any Forums thinks fascism is.

In english this was also called a faggot wasnt it

Today Russia

Its corporatism with an army.Pffghaha. Stfu you little religious butch. Go back to God, faggot.

Fascism is truth, is inevitable, is necessary. The point is that it happens if youre aware of it or not. Thus the only way for a people to be correctly alligned is to accept this fact incorporate it and embrace it. Once you remove yourself from your political ideations youll become a fascist by necessity. No one wants to be a fascist it just is. Everything else is just a noble lie.

Socialism with less ideology.

It's basically what the Chinese government is.

Believing the state to be supreme over all other aspects of life and that the state should also operate as a business and religion. Incidentally businesses, religions, activists groups, etc. becoming dominant is also fascistic since the natural progression of power is that these groups supplant the government at some point anyway. If your pozzed niggercola company has every politician in their pocket you're on your way to a corpofascist takeover, if its the immams then you're heading towards a theocractic fascism. The end result is always the same, you don't matter, rights don't matter, truth doesn't matter because its 1984.

It will be seen that, as used, the word ‘Fascism’ is almost entirely meaningless. In conversation, of course, it is used even more wildly than in print. I have heard it applied to farmers, shopkeepers, Social Credit, corporal punishment, fox-hunting, bull-fighting, the 1922 Committee, the 1941 Committee, Kipling, Gandhi, Chiang Kai-Shek, homosexuality, Priestley's broadcasts, Youth Hostels, astrology, women, dogs and I do not know what else.

Yet underneath all this mess there does lie a kind of buried meaning. To begin with, it is clear that there are very great differences, some of them easy to point out and not easy to explain away, between the régimes called Fascist and those called democratic. Secondly, if ‘Fascist’ means ‘in sympathy with Hitler’, some of the accusations I have listed above are obviously very much more justified than others. Thirdly, even the people who recklessly fling the word ‘Fascist’ in every direction attach at any rate an emotional significance to it. By ‘Fascism’ they mean, roughly speaking, something cruel, unscrupulous, arrogant, obscurantist, anti-liberal and anti-working-class. Except for the relatively small number of Fascist sympathizers, almost any English person would accept ‘bully’ as a synonym for ‘Fascist’. That is about as near to a definition as this much-abused word has come.

But Fascism is also a political and economic system. Why, then, cannot we have a clear and generally accepted definition of it? Alas! we shall not get one — not yet, anyway. To say why would take too long, but basically it is because it is impossible to define Fascism satisfactorily without making admissions which neither the Fascists themselves, nor the Conservatives, nor Socialists of any colour, are willing to make. All one can do for the moment is to use the word with a certain amount of circumspection and not, as is usually done, degrade it to the level of a swearword.

>if capitalism Is a racehorse
>and socialism is a workhorse
>then what kind of horse is fascism?
>It's a horse called a combine harvester, which isn't a horse at all.

Faceism?

I like the idea of pic.

The most right wing ideology is anarchism?

Justin Trudeau is the perfect example of fascism.

A smiling face, and a crushing boot all in one.

Fascism is the cheat code for progress.

This is very retarded. I'm supposed to infer from picrel that monarchism was a left-wing ideology?

yes

Yes. Constitutional monarchy, democracy, aristocracy, anything with limited government and separation of powers.

If you truly need to know, fascism is unity, fascism is strength in numbers.

A 'Fasces' is a bundle of sticks(a faggot) held together tightly by leather straps.

Monarchy is center left.

Not gonna mind a short time of transition Pinochet style to kill those commie fucks.

Depends. Absolutist monarchy is like dictatorship. Constitutional monarchy is clearly different.

yes, both words have the same latin root and mean "bundle" but obviously have very different meaning.
a faggot is somebody who has to hunt for sticks and bundle them into a faggot while the chads are hanging out at the fire place waiting for their faggot to return with more sticks to put into the fire.
in the case of fascism the bundle, as other anons have pointed out, a symbol for unity. in fact fascism could be translated as unionism because it's about bundling the strength of the whole folk and guide it towards one common goal.
the founding fathers thought of the fasces as a symbol for the united strength of all the states hence why you can find fasces in us government buildings.
