Biggest problem was actually finding a good paying job. I remember a guy who finished Bauman and had 60k rub paycheck. He had to go into C++ to bump up to 100k, no idea what his paycheck today is, but he had 2 yrs of experience after which he went for CPP.
For foreigners it was only worth to work for foreign companies and get paid in USD/EUR.
The biggest problem I've seen is how to find a flag that is not outside of the city.
I'm talking only about Moscow and St. Petersburg, have no idea how it is in other cities.
