As awful as the Biden administration is, at least it hasn't caved to media pressure and started a war with Russia. It's like liberal propaganda backfired on it and now the media and administration are fighting.
Am I just naive to be kind of happy the current administration keeps telling media "journalists" to fuck off when they ask about a no-fly zone?

It's just interesting to me how the media downplayed Afghanistan, but now is crying over how the US isn't going to war with Russia. I guess I'm just glad that someone understands MAD still, even after the stupid shit that's happened the past decade.

The media are doing exactly what Biden and the Neo Cons want them to, making Russia out to be a bogey man starting completely unjustifiable wars so we can have a new cold war to justify military spending and new surveillance powers for the spooks in intelligence.

No one in any position of power wants a full scale war with the Russians they just saber rattle for political gain one way or the other. Biden does it to distract from his administration's failures and the Republicans do it to score points saying that Biden is soft on Russia, its all bullshit and they're going to fuck as all with their stupid sanctions when our oil and food prices go through the roof.

That's not how it works. US government and the western media are controlled by the same (((entities))). Media is trying to convince the population that this war is good and they should want it. When they have achieved that, then the US president is basically allowed (by the population) to do the thing they already wanted to do, but without the citizens' consent it would look really bad.

I would as well, the media crying non-stop about Trump "potentially starting a war with North Korea" but then demanding a war with Russia, which would make a nuclear war with North Korea look like nothing, is just insane to me.
I know, it's just particularly interesting to me to see the media turn on the Biden admin for understanding that World War 3 is a bad thing after the past 10 years.
