Something very small and very important happened today. It is so important that none of the mainstream media is talking about it. A “Hotspot Law” was passed by the German Parliament in line with many of the western governments. In this post we present to you what the law is, what are it’s implications, what are it’s historical precedents, how it likely will be (mis)used during the upcoming periods of hyperinflation.
Questions and comments will be greatly appreciated, as this is an exercise for us as well.
Hotspot Law grants a local body or a central body to declare a given geographical location as a “Pandemic Hotspot” and then by decree curtain any geographical mobility out or into that geographical location. Since individual mobility trajectories are enormously complex, a technology to enforce the law did not exist. Under the guise of pandemic the vaccine passports developed till now will be easily tweaked so as to act additionally as a geographical fence for individual residents. Granular control of an individual’s geographical mobility is called Geofencing.
In the middle ages, plebs were quasi legally required to pay a fraction of their harvest to the church they were living close to. When the taxes became burdensome (or the currency inflationary) peasants simply moved away from the towns into wilderness and started living happily. This was a burden to the exchequer. Thanks to a smart idea from one of the prince-elector (who happened to have a large nose) the church declared that living away from towns was a sin and those who do so will suffer in hell. This was sufficient to bring people back into densely crowded towns. Therefore increasing the taxes to the church and the rents to the landlords. Thus ‘Geofence-or-face-the-wrath-of-god’ was a useful trick in the playbook of the state.
Precedent from Weimar Germany.
Just about a century ago, when the German Marks were worth less than toilet paper, city people skirted the legal hurdles and starting doing commerce with either those living in the rural area or by moving to rural areas all together. This ended up becoming a bane to the Emperor’s government that he had to let communist dogs (including Losa Ruxemberg) bite those who tried to live on their own terms. So a “threat of the mad dogs” were sufficient to keep people in line (and within urban locations).
We are living in unprecedented times. Not many people believe in higher power so the church cannot hold sway, the rabid communist dogs have started biting the owners so controlled oppositions cannot be used. There is great social social turmoil at the horizon (visible to those who can see). This is where Geofencing via guise of the pandemic comes in.

People flock to the city anyways, not to mention there is not a single place in this densely populated shithole that isn't supervisable and taxable by the state. The covid pass and regulations is just a stepping stone to a China style social credit system.
