Just sack Kiev already you pussies

>Russian forces did not make any major advances and Ukrainian forces carried out several local counterattacks on March 17.
>Russian forces made little territorial progress and continued to deploy reserve elements—including from the 1st Guards Tank Army and 810th Naval Infantry Brigade—in small force packets that are unlikely to prove decisive.
>Russian forces continue to suffer heavy casualties around Kharkiv, and Russian attempts to bypass the city of Izyum are unlikely to succeed.
>Russian forces continued assaults on Mariupol on March 17 but did not conduct any other successful advances from Crimea.

Starving them out is easier

shills are coping hard af for a reason. it's impossible to pretend this is any kind of success now or going "according to plan" in any way.

Who controls eastern Ukraine and Crimea?

yeah ok shill. Superpower Russia was able to take over SOME territory in a shithole right on its border and most of it already controlled since 2014. CONGRATS. So fucking impressive. The entire world is awed by the effectiveness of Russian arms.

I respect you user, it takes a lot of guts to admit you were wrong

It seems obvious that Russia is using a 'cauldron' strategy similar to the Donbass war in 2014. That's a relatively slow process of encirclement of enemy forces, gradually trapping them into smaller and smaller areas of operation.

That strategy has been successful for Russia in the past. Ukraine's lack of big offensives to break the cauldrons indicates trouble for their military. So it's hard to see how Russia is 'losing' right now. They seem to be gradually implementing their cauldron strategy.

ameriflag thread time to break the combo

Na.
not gonna getting a sting missile from the ninth floor just to satisfy your boredom shitposter. go back play elder ring or whatever.

Urban warfare is bloody as fuck, we will bombard Kiev with aerial artillery to clean as the best as possible every cranny and nook on the way of the tangent of the city we want to penetrate then enter the city following those tangents performing small Kotel and seize a portion of the city at time

Well it's a brutal and utterly artless strategy that seems the most their army is capable of. Pathetic really.

that is cope. it’s the most cost effective way of strangling out an army with modern equipment while avoiding heavy losses for everyone.
It doesn’t have to be quick when the purpose is to look good in the end.

>while avoiding heavy losses for everyone
what the fuck are you talking about? shelling cities and getting your own armor obliterated = "avoiding heavy losses for everyone"? ahahahaha! the fucking cope has gone psychotic

what’s the death toll compared to the invasion of iraq?

several times greater, and in a vastly shorter time!

>Sumy still isn't captured
>Kharkiv assault fucked up
>Mariupol lost 2 generals
>got pushed back in Kherson
>cleaned up at Chernihiv

sad

>nooo, you have to rush in right away, you can't just use the most effective tactic

you fuckers don’t even attempt to live in reality anymore.

The only definite information we have received is from the reddit dildo division which was comprehensively rekt and raped within 24 hours.

This is most likely a parade.

Lol seriously. If Ukraine was winning we’d be seeing live footage and detailed maps by the western propaganda machine.

>it’s the most cost effective way of strangling out an army with modern equipment while avoiding heavy losses for everyone.
Hahahahahahaha holy cope. Yes a prolonged invasion with thousands of dead and irreplaceable equipment losses.

>a prolonged invasion
Somebody doesn't know much about the Bosnian War.

Ikr. I was hoping for too much thinking they would have taken it by now.

Kiev is not starving because its not surrounded. Neither is Kharkiv and most other cities. Even Chernihiv isn't totally enveloped according to some sources.
