I graduated pharmacy school in 1990 and my first job as a retail pharmacist (for a large chain pharmacy) was $16/hr. When I last worked as a retail pharmacist in 2016 I was getting $66/hr....I have tobe honest when I say I felt as though I had more free time, spare money and enjoyment when I first started out....and my kids were newborns then and my wife stayed home with them. Taxes and all other things really sap your income today.
