Portland, Oregon’s Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, the self-declared “top Children’s Hospital in Oregon,” is being criticized for providing kids with disturbing sexual material. The youth hospital’s “Gender Clinic” instructs kids how to “tuck their penis, testicles, or both out of the way” in order to make “the genital area look smoother and flatter.” Despite tucking clearly only being relevant for males, the instructional guide states, “People of all genders can tuck.”
While the bizarre material is meant to teach children how to tuck safely, the document admits doing so can result in “urinary tract infections, problems with urine flow and twisting or inflammation in the testicles.” Well, when you’re teaching kids to push their testicles into their body, the inguinal canals, problems may occur.
Under the section, “How to Tuck,” the children’s guide explains they can “use tape,” wear spandex or pantyhose, or “put your testicles inside your body.” The document tells kids to press gently on their testicles and use “two or three fingers, and try to guide them into the inguinal canals. This can feel strange at first, possibly even uncomfortable. You should not feel faint or nauseated or have extreme pain. If you do, take a break and try again later.”

One time when I was a kid one of my balls escaped back into my pelvis like that and it scared me so much I cried. I thought I would have to get surgery to fix it and it didn't come back out for hours even though I kept trying to get it out.
