Should I join the military? My grandfather was in the navy during Vietnam. I don’t know what else to do in my life. I’m working a dead end job while living with my parents.

Do you want to risk judgement day having served the Great Satan aka the Jewnited States of America?

fight for zog goyim
>working a dead end job
The military pays shit and chances are your going to be in the same position after your contract ends. If you're going to stress your body out, might as well learn a trade.
this^
>joining the modern military
Do you enjoy fighting and dying for kikes or something?
Don't join the American military.

>I’m working a dead end job
what normally happens -
>go make less money living crammed in with 68IQ teenagers for 4 years
>getting bossed around by 22 year olds
>receive mental abuse starting day 1 of basic training
>deploy and undergo extreme mental trauma
>knowingly assist an evil empire spreading degeneracy and economic slavery around the world
>incur life-long injuries to your back, hips, neck and knees
>go back to the same job you were working before, but not also plagued with severe and debilitating mental and musculoskeletal problems
go become an apprentice electrician dude.
this
This.
Learn a trade. Electrician. Plumber. Carpenter. All that shit. I know people who do this shit (course is 1 year) and these mfers make more than me with my bachelors. If I had to chose all over again I'd probably go for a trade
john mccain's children thank you

what did you do for your bachelor degree?
>I'm a sheltered suburban teenager that has no idea what he's talking about: the post
enlisting in the marines was the best fookin decision i ever made. over 10 years later and it's still impacting my life in a positive way. i got out in 2014. my MOS was 6842 METOC (meteorology and oceanography). don't do infantry shit, it's for faggots.
Are you smart? Can you pass a test? If you’re somewhat smart, can pass tests, and are physically fit then you have a chance to set yourself apart and enter some sort of elite squad.
If not, you’re going to end up with the absolute worst type of people.
Best to practice advanced math and analytical Q/A before taking entrance exam or you’ll completely fuck yourself.

why not, you only live once, make the most out of it
Major physics with a minor in computer science.
I'm a webdev now. I honestly had to each myself most of the stuff as the computer science minor was pure theory.
This.
I have a bachelors in supply chain and most trade jobs make more than me.
College is a fucking meme at this point anyway
Why is this boot posting?
No.
Liar, that is all true and you know it.
Coast guard swimmer would be badass, but just make sure afterwards you have a plan because those skills are useless in the civilian world. This goes for any job inside military. You need to think 4 years ahead at the very least.
kek. BOOOOOT. god, i can't imagine what kind of waste of life i would have been had i not went to parris island. i'd rather be a boot for life than the alternate reality.
this is literally god tier degree, you can easily find highly paid jobs.
I did (still doing) economics for bachelor, which is a meme degree, you cant find a good job unless you have good connections, i really regret i didnt choose physics or math as major
yes. i got into the university of georgia as a non traditional admit because of my experience as an operation meteorologist in the marines. there's plenty of good jobs in the military that will translate into civvie life.
If you don't mind mandatory vaccines that will get you dishonorable discharge for refusing.
>it'll keep you healthy
Why would you recruit individuals with a weak immune system?
oops. meant to post this picture.
Jesus Christ, Grandad in Vietnam? I remember when I was younger where it was usually "My dad served in Vietnam, and his Dad in WWII".
Truthfully there is nothing wrong with it. You get paid adequately, learn a trade, get a chance to be stationed overseas, and if you decide to call it quits get funding for school. I did 8 years in the Air Force, it was good for a poor fag like me who was born into a situation with miniscule options. It was the best decision I ever made, despite some draw backs.
Just seriously research each branch and research each career. I can tell you that..
-Infantry fucking Blows
- Being a Cop (Master at arms/MP/Security Forces) Fucking sucks.
- Being an Airplane Mechanic Fucking sucks
- Being a ship Mechanic fucking sucks.
Realistically if the washout rate for you job is over 80% (Special Operations, ATC etc) don't bother with it, because when you fail you will get thrown into something random you hate.
If you decide this is the path for you, good luck and make the most out of it.
I can't decide if you are memeing or just the cringest boot on the planet.
ah, so you've never been enlisted in the .mil
>this is literally god tier degree, you can easily find highly paid jobs
It's true, but the jobs will be few since they'll be highly specialized and I'll most likely have to relocate often.
I wanted to find something that's readily available even if it paid less. 4 years ago the company I was working for went bankrupt. I was starting a new job 2 weeks later. It's honestly the advantage of working in a field with lots of opportunities.
But money wise, yes - there are some jobs that you can do with strong math skills (and some economics).
If you really want to do this kind of stuff, you could go back for like a certificate (small bachelors) in applied math and study numerical analysis (interpolation, differentiation, differential equations, etc). With a degree in economics and math knowledge you'll be able to find a well paying job.
A guy I studied with did exactly that - he went to get another bachelors in economics and now he's working for some financial company doing numerical models and projections. 100k+ salary too

Great customer service, and for a small monthly subscription fee they will help you get started and they have a great app that points you to the highest paying truck stops in your area.
In today’s world there is no point unless you are just looking for free gibs. I guess if you want some “discipline” in your life go for it. If you go combat arms though, be prepared to walk out with essentially nothing. It’s like having been in prison. The skills are not transferable unless you want to be in law enforcement, or if you were some SF/SOF guy and can get fat contracts doing private security/military contracting, or be employed doing high tier law enforcement and luminescent fed agency tac shit.
We are looking for a few good men
Chuckled
Try harder
you'll have to get jabbed
vietnam soldier wojak, has an SP1 in his hands, not even an X16E1, or M16A1

Oh come on, it made me laugh writing it.
